Basketball Recap: Portland Comes Up Short

Portland and Edward Little squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Portland had to settle for second. They took a 52-35 bruising from the Edward Little Red Eddies. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Red Eddies recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Portland's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Edward Little, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

While Portland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
