Basketball Game Preview: Westside Wolves vs. Washington Eagles

For the first time this season, Westside will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will face off against the Washington Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westside has given up an average of 56 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Westside is headed into Thursday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They fell 73-66 to Alief Taylor on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Washington posted their closest win since February 25th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 73-70 victory over Wheatley. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Westside, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
