Volleyball Recap: West Charlotte Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Charlotte lost against Mallard Creek two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions came up short against the Mavericks, falling 3-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mallard Creek found their leader in freshman Mia Harris, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Harris. Nadia Bridges also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

West Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Mallard Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-20.

West Charlotte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mallard Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against North Mecklenburg on the 14th.
