The Dublin Coffman Shamrocks's 19-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell to Mount Notre Dame 43-37. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Dublin Coffman in their matchups with Mount Notre Dame: they've now lost four in a row.

Mount Notre Dame's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Laila Harrison led the charge by scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Hackney, who scored 11 points.

Dublin Coffman now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mount Notre Dame, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dublin Coffman will face off against Olentangy Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Notre Dame, they will head out on the road to face off against Mercy McAuley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mercy McAuley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 340th, while Mount Notre Dame is ranked 14th).
