Montgomery had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 10-13 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs by a score of 5-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-1 back in April.

The team relied heavily on Michael Ule, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Vincent Prosser was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

As for St. Vincent de Paul, their record is now 4-18. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On St. Vincent de Paul's side, Tyler Chelew made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Chelew is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Montgomery will have a chance to go back-to-back against St. Vincent de Paul: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
