Basketball Recap: Chalmette Comes Up Short

Chalmette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-16 loss at the hands of the University Lab Cubs. The game marked the Owls' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Chalmette's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for University Lab, their win bumped their record up to 21-3.

Coming up, Chalmette will take on Northshore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Lab, they will challenge Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
