Football Game Preview: Mancelona Ironmen vs. Charlevoix Rayders + How To Watch

Mancelona hasn't had much luck against Charlevoix recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Ironmen will face off against the Rayders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

On Friday, Mancelona got the win against East Jordan by a conclusive 36-16. The result was nothing new for the Ironmen, who have now won four matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Charlevoix strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Elk Rapids, posting a 41-8 win. Given the Rayders' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Elks are ranked 322nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mancelona's record is now 4-2. As for Charlevoix, their record now sits at 6-0.

Mancelona was dealt a bruising 44-14 loss at the hands of Charlevoix when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Ironmen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
