Roseville waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Del Campo Cougars 12-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-1 last Wednesday.

Santiago Barbonier looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on John Vicente lll, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kyle Pettersen, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Roseville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Roseville's record now sits at 10-7. As for Del Campo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9-1.
