Softball Recap: Cornwall Central Comes Up Short

Cornwall Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Warwick Wildcats. The Dragons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Cornwall Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Horaz, who went 1-for-3 with one run. That run marked the first that Horaz has scored this season.

Cornwall Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Warwick, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Cornwall Central has already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Washingtonville on the 23rd. As for Warwick, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-0 win against Monticello on the 23rd.
