Mica Mountain and Saguaro squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mica Mountain had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Saguaro Sabercats by a score of 2-1. The Thunderbolts' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Julian Ordaz, who's now up to 17 this season.

Mica Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Saguaro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-4 record this season.

Mica Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saguaro, they will square off against Salpointe Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
