The Reedsburg Beavers will head out to challenge the Portage Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reedsburg is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
Reedsburg had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Cambria-Friesland on Thursday. The Beavers blew past the Hilltoppers 8-2. Considering the Beavers have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Kylee Molitor, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Renneberg, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Reedsburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April.
Meanwhile, Portage had just enough and edged out Lodi 3-2 on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one run.
Ally Saloun spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits.
At the plate, Jackie Seiler was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Trinity Williams also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Portage is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Reedsburg, their record now sits at 15-11.
Reedsburg skirted past Portage 9-7 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beavers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
