Basketball Recap: Little Rock Southwest Takes a Loss

Little Rock Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 81-19 defeat at the hands of the Central Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Gryphons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Tigers are ranked sixth).

Little Rock Southwest's record now sits at 0-19. As for Central, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Little Rock Southwest has already played their next matchup (against Conway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Central has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Jonesboro.
