Basketball Recap: Robbinsville Comes Up Short

Robbinsville lost against Red Bank Regional back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Robbinsville Ravens fell 57-46 to the Red Bank Regional Bucs. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Bucs are ranked 26th).

This is the second loss in a row for Robbinsville and nudges their season record down to 11-11. As for Red Bank Regional, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Robbinsville will take on Delran on Thursday. Robbinsville is facing Delran at the right time seeing as Delran is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Red Bank Regional, they will challenge Matawan Regional on Wednesday. Red Bank Regional knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Matawan Regional likes a good challenge.
