Volleyball Recap: Norwich Takes a Loss

Norwich entered their contest against Argonia on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.

Reagan Smith paced Norwich's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Jate Samuelson and her three assists.

Norwich now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Argonia, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Coincidentally, Norwich and Argonia will both be playing Attica the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
