A late scoring drive and resilient defense sealed the victory for the Red Raiders, snapping McCallie's momentum ans strengthening Baylor's case in the national Top 25. Both teams showcased elite talent, but it was Baylor's composure in the final minutes that proved the difference.

McMichael might have drawn first blood against High Point Christian Academy on Wednesday, but it was High Point Christian Academy who got the last laugh. McMichael lost to High Point Christian Academy by a decisive 12-30 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to McMichael of the 6-35 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.

The defeat dropped McMichael's record to 1-3. The win bumped High Point Christian Academy's record up to 5-0.

McMichael will stay at home next week against Northern Guilford at 7:30 PM. High Point Christian Academy will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Charlotte Christian in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
