Soccer Game Preview: Palacios vs. Hallettsville

Palacios and Hallettsville are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2023, but likely not for long. The Palacios Sharks will be playing at home against the Hallettsville Brahmas at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Palacios didn't have quite enough to beat Calhoun and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Hallettsville waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 3-0 shutout. The Brahmas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

Hallettsville pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Palacios, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
