Softball Recap: West Warwick Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for West Warwick's offense. They came up short against the Pilgrim Patriots on Wednesday, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Wizards' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

West Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Pilgrim, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

West Warwick didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-3 loss against North Kingstown on the 21st. As for Pilgrim, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against Chariho on the 17th.
