Baseball Recap: Trinity Triumphs

Trinity proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Varsity Opponent 9-8.

The team relied heavily on Connor Hatfield, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Rylan Cecil, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Trinity now has a winning record of 2-1.

Trinity has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Breckinridge County on the 22nd. As for Varsity Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-3 defeat against Lighthouse Christian on the 22nd.
