Volleyball Recap: Tullahoma Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Tullahoma fell 3-1 to Lawrence County. Tullahoma just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Tullahoma started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-13, 25-13, 25-14.

Ari Bryson paced Tullahoma's offense, picking up eight kills. Bryson got some help from Avanley Metcalf and her 25 assists.

Tullahoma's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Lawrence County, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tullahoma is set to square off against their familiar foe Columbia Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lawrence County will take on rival Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
