Baseball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington couldn't beat North Point on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Bluejays lost 15-5 to the Grizzlies. The defeat continues a trend for the Bluejays in their meetings with the Grizzlies: they've now lost three in a row.

Washington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Hopfensperger, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for North Point, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6-1.

Coming up, Washington will square off against Chaminade at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bluejays are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for North Point, they will face off against Troy-Buchanan at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
