Noxapater took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Sebastopol a 6-0 shutout. Those six points were actually the fewest the Tigers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Nanih Waiya ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 20-14 victory over Leake County. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won six in a row.

Noxapater better focus on containing Korben Sanders and Kade Massey as the pair were huge in Nanih Waiya's win. Sanders rushed for 116 yards and a pair of scores, while Massey rushed for 94 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

Nanih Waiya was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 211 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

Noxapater's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Nanih Waiya, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
