Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Perrin-Whitt's Fifth in Last Six Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newcastle, Perrin-Whitt was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 48-37 win over the Woodson Cowboys. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Perrin-Whitt has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Woodson, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Perrin-Whitt will be playing in front of their home fans against Throckmorton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodson, they will square off against Bryson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bryson's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Woodson's offense will have their work cut out for them.
