Football Game Preview: Pinecrest Academy Paladins vs. St. Francis Knights + How To Watch

The Pinecrest Academy Paladins will head out to face off against the St. Francis Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pinecrest Academy has four straight wins, St. Francis has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Pinecrest Academy made easy work of Fideles Christian and carried off a 35-10 victory. The Paladins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. Francis faced Lafayette Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights were dealt a 48-12 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pinecrest Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

Pinecrest Academy ended up a good deal behind St. Francis in their previous matchup back in October of 2019, losing 48-34. Thankfully for the Paladins, Kylen Smith (who rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
