Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jason Hallstrom and Habib Khan Lead Tokay to Victory

Tokay entered their tilt with Chavez on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 57-47 win over the Chavez Titans. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 64-49 loss the last time these two teams met.

Tokay was led to victory by Habib Khan and Jason Hallstrom. Khan posted 19 points and seven boards, while Hallstrom had 13 points. What's more, Hallstrom also racked up three rebounds, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Carlo Agbayani was another key player, putting up seven points.

Tokay's record is now 14-11. As for Chavez, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tokay will host Stagg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tokay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Chavez, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McNair at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
