Soccer Recap: Hampton County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Edisto last Friday, Hampton County came back down to earth. The Hampton County Hurricanes fell just short of the Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The match was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Hurricanes couldn't quite close it out.

Hampton County's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Colleton Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton County will venture away from home to take on Hardeeville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they will head out to square off against Hilton Head Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give Colleton Prep Academy their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
