Baseball Recap: Naperville Central Wins Going Away Against Oswego East

Naperville Central's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Oswego East Wolves 7-1. For the Redhawks, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Naperville Central's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Oswego East, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Naperville Central will head out to face off against DeKalb at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Barbs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Redhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Oswego East, they will welcome Plainfield North at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
