Recap: Fraser Ramblers vs. Lutheran North Mustangs
The Fraser Ramblers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Lutheran North by a score of 79-68. The victory was familiar territory for Fraser who now have three in a row.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gio Lutfy, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lutfy has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Petersdorf, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Fraser's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Lutheran North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
Fraser will square off against Sterling Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Fraser is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Michigan (they are ranked 236th, while Sterling Heights is ranked 593rd). As for Lutheran North, they will square off against Tournament Team at TBD on Monday.
