Baseball Recap: St. Michael's Comes Up Short

On Monday, the St. Michael's Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the Rockdale Tigers and fell 4-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Michael's saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Creighton Van Ackeren, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Logan Connell also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

St. Michael's loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, St. Michael's will take on Taylor at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rockdale, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Lions at 12:15 p.m. on Friday.
