Football Game Preview: New Heights Christian Academy Cougars vs. Greenfield Wildcats

The New Heights Christian Academy Cougars are taking a road trip to challenge the Greenfield Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Heights Christian Academy has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 29.

On Friday, New Heights Christian Academy had to suffer through a 70-20 loss at the hands of Drexel/Miami.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Greenfield and Osceola, and Osceola kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats fell just short of the Indians by a score of 42-40 on Friday.

New Heights Christian Academy will have to keep a close watch on Andrew Mays and Drake Morrison, a pair of players who had a big impact on Greenfield's prior game. Mays gained 167 total yards and three touchdowns, while Morrison rushed for 91 yards and three scores. Mays also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

New Heights Christian Academy's record is now 1-8. As for Greenfield, their record now sits at 2-7.

New Heights Christian Academy was taken down by Greenfield 104-62 in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
