Holmen put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the West De Pere Phantoms. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Phantoms, too.

Among those leading the charge was Sadie Mayer, who had 14 assists and four digs. That's the most assists she has posted over her last seven matchups. Brenna Schmidt also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Holmen was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Holmen's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for West De Pere, their loss dropped their record down to 9-1.

Holmen has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Mosinee on the 30th. As for West De Pere, they will take on Sheboygan Falls in a tournament on Saturday.
