Baseball Recap: Juarez Takes a Loss

The Juarez Eagles came up short against the Bogan Bengals on Saturday, falling 16-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Juarez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hector Amador, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs. Amador is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Manuel Lozado also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Juarez's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bogan, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Bogan has already played their next match, a 16-6 win against Hansberry on the 14th. Hopefully Juarez paid attention to the Bengals' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bengals at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
