If Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Roncalli, they should've done a better job of containing Matthew Dial. The Royals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Braves on Tuesday thanks in part to Dial, who had 29 assists and 11 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 45 games he's played dating back to last season.

Roncalli not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-15.

Leading Roncalli to victory were Aiden Hill and Noah Meyer. Hill had eight digs and two aces, while Meyer had eight digs. That's the most aces Hill has posted over his last six games. Charlie Spearing also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.

Roncalli now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
