Football Recap: Whitharral Piles Up the Points Against Valley

Whitharral put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Valley Patriots 62-34. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Whitharral's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Whitharral will be playing in front of their home fans against Nazareth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Swifts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Valley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Claude at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' defense better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 39.6 points per game this season.
