Football Preview: Patterson Tigers vs. Manteca Buffaloes        
        
		
             After two games on the road, Patterson is heading back home. They will welcome the Manteca Buffaloes  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 Patterson is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Sierra 55-27 on the road. The Tigers pushed the score to  55-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Timberwolves cut but never quite recovered from.
 Patterson had a senior duo take command as  Coby Joseph rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries and  Jeremiah Lugo gained 160 total yards and three touchdowns. What's more,  Lugo also racked up 82  rushing yards, the mosthe's  had since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Max Medina, who threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Patterson was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 256  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  rushing yard total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Patterson's defense made their presence known, laying out   Zak Willson. seven times. Leading the way was  Tresor Mulumba with  three sacks.
 Meanwhile, Manteca waltzed into their contest  on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Lancers, posting  a  49-0 victory on the road. The result was nothing new for the Buffaloes, who have now won six games by 39  points or more  so far this season.
 Patterson now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Manteca, their win was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-1.
 Patterson took a serious blow against Manteca  in their previous meeting  back in August of 2022, falling  43-10. That  match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Patterson was down  29-3.
