Baseball Game Preview: Charles Wright Tarriers vs. Klahowya Eagles

The Charles Wright Tarriers will challenge the Klahowya Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Klahowya's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Charles Wright hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Tarriers never let Vashon Island get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Tarriers have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Klahowya never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Chimacum on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cowboys with a sharp 12-2 win.

Charles Wright is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Klahowya, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
