Soccer Recap: South Pointe Comes Up Short

If South Pointe was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Richland Northeast last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stallions lost 6-0 to the A.C. Flora Falcons on Friday. While losing is never fun, South Pointe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while A.C. Flora are ranked 11th).

South Pointe's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for A.C. Flora, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

South Pointe didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 victory against Camden on the 1st. As for A.C. Flora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against York on the 1st.
