Soccer Recap: Mater Lakes Academy Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Somerset Academy - Canyons, Mater Lakes Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams out 2-1.

Nicole Sanchez was the driving force of Mater Lakes Academy's attack as she scored both of Mater Lakes Academy's goals, bringing her season total up to 15 goals.

Mater Lakes Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those seven matches. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Mater Lakes Academy will face off against Abundant Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they will head out to face off against Saint Andrew's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Saint Andrew's will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something David Posnack Jewish Day surely won't give up without a fight.
