Softball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ringgold last Thursday, Lakeview came back down to earth. The Lakeview Gators came up short against the Logansport Tigers on Tuesday, falling 17-0. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing 21-6 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakeview dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Logansport, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Lakeview will venture away from home to square off against LaSalle at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. LaSalle will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Lakeview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Logansport, they will be playing at home against Hornbeck at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
