Soccer Recap: Booker T. Washington Magnet Takes a Loss

Booker T. Washington Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Holtville Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Holtville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

Booker T. Washington Magnet's goal came courtesy of Jordan Powell, who's now up to two this season.

Booker T. Washington Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Holtville, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Booker T. Washington Magnet will head out on the road to take on Brewbaker Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brewbaker Tech's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Holtville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wetumpka at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Holtville are facing Wetumpka at the right time seeing as Wetumpka are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
