Wolsey-Wessington entered their tilt with Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Blackhawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-15, 25-13.

Wolsey-Wessington's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-6.

Coincidentally, Wolsey-Wessington and Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will both be playing James Valley Christian the next time they take the court. The Warbirds will host the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Blackhawks will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on October 2.
