Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Mason Plumb and Raymond Hood Lead Clinton Christian Academy to Victory

There's no place like home for Clinton Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Christian Learning Center Mustangs on Tuesday, sneaking past 42-40. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in January, they had to take a 55-44 loss.

Clinton Christian Academy was led to victory by Raymond Hood and Mason Plumb. Hood dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Plumb posted seven points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave Plumb a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaac Curnutte, who had four points and three steals.

Clinton Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Clinton Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Christian Learning Center, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Clinton Christian Academy will take on Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Plaza Heights Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Clinton Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Christian Learning Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
