Volleyball Recap: Oceanside Collegiate Academy Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Oceanside Collegiate Academy hadn't done well against Porter-Gaud recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Landsharks came out on top against the Cyclones by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Landsharks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 22-25, 25-12.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Oceanside Collegiate Academy will host First Baptist School at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Porter-Gaud, they will venture away from home to square off against Northwood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Cyclones' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
