Basketball Game Preview: Sandwich Indians vs. Woodstock Blue Streaks

The Sandwich Indians will face off against the Woodstock Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Sandwich comes in on four and Woodstock on three.

Last Tuesday, Sandwich didn't have too much trouble with Richmond-Burton as they won 72-55.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Woodstock beat Plano 48-44 on Tuesday.

Woodstock has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Sandwich, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Things could have been worse for Sandwich, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-46 loss to Woodstock in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Sandwich avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
