Marlboro Central waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Spackenkill Spartans with a sharp 61-36 victory. The Dukes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Spackenkill had strong showings from Maryclare Parker-Stark, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards, and Kennedy Bowe, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Marlboro Central's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for Spackenkill, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Marlboro Central has already played their next contest, a 51-39 loss against Beacon on the 8th. As for Spackenkill, they will welcome Roosevelt at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
