Volleyball Recap: Wagner Falls to Devine in First Game of Season

Wagner unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Devine Warhorses / Arabians on Monday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

Wagner was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Devine work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 27-25, 25-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wagner is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Southwest at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Devine, they will face off against Giddings at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
