Soccer Recap: Pueblo East Comes Up Short

Pueblo East lost against Pueblo Centennial back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Pueblo East were already down 4-0.

Pueblo East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Pueblo Centennial, they moved to 3-7-1 with that win, which also ended their seven-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Pueblo East will challenge Pueblo South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pueblo East will be up against Pueblo South's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.8 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pueblo Centennial, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Sierra on the 6th.
