Softball Recap: Academy of Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Academy of Notre Dame lost against Minuteman Regional last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers fell just short of the Minuteman by a score of 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Lancers have lost by just one run.

Jacqui Martineau was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. Nora Logan was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple.

Academy of Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Minuteman Regional, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Academy of Notre Dame will face off against Nashoba Valley Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minuteman Regional, they will square off against Tewksbury Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
