Basketball Recap: Florence Christian Comes Up Short

Florence Christian lost against Wilson Hall back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Florence Christian Eagles received a blow as they fell 65-49 to the Wilson Hall Barons. The Eagles were down 55-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Florence Christian still got an impressive performance from Taylor Greene, who went 5 of 8 en route to 16 points and five assists. Greene has been hot, having posted 16 or more points the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Berry, who posted nine points.

Florence Christian now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Wilson Hall, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Florence Christian will take on Colleton Prep Academy in a tournament on Friday. Wilson Hall and Worthington Kilbourne will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
