Beatrice has gone a perfect 3-0 against Fairbury recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Beatrice will square off against Fairbury at 4:30 p.m. Beatrice is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Beatrice came up short against Seward and fell 7-3. The matchup marked the Orangemen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Austin Baldwin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Fairbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against York, falling 14-6.

CJ Goeking made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Grady Chappell also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Beatrice now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Fairbury, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Beatrice's way against Fairbury when the teams last played back in March of 2023, as Beatrice made off with a 7-0 victory. Does Beatrice have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fairbury turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
