Basketball Recap: William Penn Snags Tenth Win in Last 11 Games

William Penn won the last time they faced Red Lion, and Nasir Barnes did his part to make sure it happened again. The William Penn Bearcats walked away with a 75-67 victory over the Red Lion Lions on Tuesday thanks in part to Barnes, who posted 21 points. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 20 points.

Rashard Miller was another key player, putting up 14 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

William Penn has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Red Lion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-6.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bearcats take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. William Penn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Red Lion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
